Golfing at Haggin Oaks

Golfers generally look for two things – a beautiful layout, and exemplary service. When they go out to play, they are after the challenge and the experience a club can provide.

Haggin Oaks Estates excels at both things. Offering two championship golf courses, Haggin Oaks Estates is the new haven for golf aficionados. The complex has two courses called the Arcade Creek, and the Alister Mackenzie Golf course. No matter what skill level you have, there is a place for you in these courses.

First is the Arcade Creek. This course is more beginner-friendly. Haggin Oaks understands that taking up a new hobby can be quite intimidating. So, Arcade Creek made sure to design the experience where both first-timers and seasoned golfers can enjoy. The difficulty level of the course is set lower. There are fewer hazards and obstacles, which allows players to learn the game in a more relaxed and conducive environment.

The other course in the complex is the world-class 18-hole Alister Mackenzie Golf course. It was built in 1932 and has been enjoyed by some of the best golfers in Sacramento. Designed by its namesake architect, this course measures 6,991 yards. Mackenzie was also the one responsible for creating one of the most exclusive and famous golf course in the world, the Augusta National. If you are an experienced player looking to have a more advanced course to play in, then the Alister Mackenzie Golf Course is the choice for you. The course rating is 71.2, and it has a slope rating of 114 on Bermuda grass. Today the course is managed by Morton Golf, LLC with Mike Woods, PGA as the GM/Golf Professional.
